Developing world class project managers


To be eligible for the award of B.Tech. (Project Management Technology), a student must have:

(a) passed all core courses as well as all University and School required courses and elective recommended for specialization;

(b) successfully completed all class work, industrial attachments, seminars and projects; and

(c) completed a minimum of 198 units for students admitted through UME and 155 units for students admitted by Direct Entry and obtained a CGPA of not less than 1.0.

Direct entry students are required to audit and pass GNS 101, 102 and 103 and MEE 101 and 102 and if they fail these courses, they must register for them as credit courses.

The minimum duration of the programme is five academic sessions for students admitted into 100 Level through the UME and four academic sessions for those admitted into 200Level by Direct Entry. If a student fails to graduate at the end of the normal academic sessions, he or she would not be allowed to exceed a total of 15 semesters in the case of UME students and 12 semesters in the case of Direct Entry students.
